These are additional aro/ace labels that do not have an aroace counterpart to my knowledge. This is so you can explore the diversity of this spectrum.
[Top flag being the romantic orientation and bottom being its sexual counterpart.]

Someone who experiences little to no romantic and sexual attraction, but they desire a romantic and sexual relationship with another person.

Someone who has interest in certain romantic and sexual activities, the aesthetic of sexual/romantic relationships, and/or specific aspects of said relationships, but does not feel sexual and romantic attraction, nor do they desire having these relationships.

Someone who experiences a disconnection between oneself and the subject of romantic/sexual fantasies. Aegoaroaces may enjoy porn/rom-com, and some may also engage in masturbation. But they generally feel little to no sexual and romantic attraction, and do not desire romantic and sexual relationships.

Someone who experiences a tertiary attraction which mimics or borders on sexual and romantic attraction. Despite this, they lack the desire to engage in sexual and romantic acts with the source of arousal, and therefore lack sexual and romantic attraction to said source.
Addressing commonly asked questions and misconceptions about the aro/acespec.
1. Asexuality = Aromanticism
This is a common misconception of both spectrums. Just because someone is asexual does not automatically mean they're aroace, and vice versa.
Romantic and sexual attraction are two different things, so are asexuality and aromanticism. Most aro/ace folks follow the Split Attraction Model, which identifies different types of attraction.
2. Can aroaces still have sex or date?
Yes they can. There are sex-favorable aces who enjoys having sex for pleasure while not experiencing sexual attraction, and romance-favorable aros who enjoys romantic interactions [kisses, cuddles, etc.] while not experiencing romantic attraction.
Having sex or dating alone does not invalidate your romantic and sexual orientations.
3. Can aroaces be interested in the concept of sex and romance?
Of course. Aroaces can enjoy consuming sexual and romantic content for whatever reason, but it's completely fine if you're sex and romance averse.
4. Why are there so many microlabels?
There are more aro/ace labels i haven't included, and the reason why people need so many labels is because that they want to describe their experiences and feel validated that way.
If these labels didn't exist, then stereotypes about the spectrum would be forced upon the community, regardless of its diversity.
